Southland Painting Corporation was founded by Jozef Verhelst in 1983.

Mr. Verhelst, has over 40 years of experience in both the United States and Europe on projects in the industrial painting field. Over the years, Southland has completed several elaborate jobs in collaboration with many different general contractors and agencies throughout the state of Florida. These jobs have involved projects such as special coatings, sandblasting, seamless flooring, concrete repair and maintenance.

Southland Painting Corporation specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Industrial Painting, Sandblasting, Cementitious Coating and Waterproofing.

Southland Painting Corporation prides itself on its long-standing reputation. Over the years Southland has become more than a Corporation, it is a family! Southland is proud to have members of our staff that have been a part of this family for over 25 years! Our entire staff provides the highest quality of work.

In January 15, 2015, Jessie R. Foster became the proud Owner of the Corporation. Jessie worked with Jef for 25 years prior to the ownership. He was the Regional Manager and Quality Control Supervisor.

We are committed to completing every project in a timely manner. We convey a sense of pride and responsibility, which can be seen in all of our projects and employees.
